We are looking for a highly technical, creative, hands-on, and impact-focused Software Engineer to join our growing Ads team. Our team is revolutionizing the way users interact with our platform through innovative ads formats (including Quests). We are driven by a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences while scaling our platform to new heights. These products enable us to generate revenue by building a win-win-win suite of distribution tools for game developers, players, and Discord. Location
Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties). Relocation assistance may be available.
Compensation
The base salary range for this full-time position is $196,000 — $245,000 USD. This position will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Key Technical Responsibilities
- check_circle Build new ads products from the backend to the frontend that deliver direct value to users through rewards
- check_circle Build a platform that enable advertisers and operations teams to manage their ad campaigns
- check_circle Make architectural improvements to improve the long term maintenance of our products and systems
- check_circle Collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers to create delightful products that people love
- check_circle Work with our analytics and experimentation frameworks to help optimize our ads products
- check_circle Stay up-to-date on the latest industry technologies
Prerequisites & Qualifications
- check Full-stack experience with hands on experience with Typescript, React, Python or equivalents
- check Strive for excellence mentality with high attention to detail and a commitment to solving problems completely
- check Strong collaboration skills with transparent updates and the ability to build robust relationships
- check Growth mindset with the ability to view mistakes as learning opportunities and continuously improve
- check 4+ years of experience working with similar technologies
