About the Role
At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. We run one of the world’s largest networks powering millions of websites and Internet properties—from individual bloggers to SMBs and Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates online applications without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Our culture is built on continuous iteration, curiosity over bureaucracy, and leveraging AI to move faster and solve complex problems.
About the Customer Compliance Team
You will join the Customer Compliance Team, which focuses on building deep trust with customers by transparently communicating Cloudflare’s security program, controls, and policies. As a Customer Security Compliance Specialist, you will develop into a Subject Matter Expert across Cloudflare’s products, global infrastructure, and security architecture. In this role, you will actively build with and leverage Cloudflare’s proprietary, in-house AI platforms and developer tooling to eliminate manual operational bottlenecks, scale compliance operations, and accelerate response times to complex enterprise security inquiries.
Role & Mission Focus
We are seeking builders who can spot normalized problems and use AI-native solutions to fix them. You will lead security assurance efforts by orchestrating internal AI generation pipelines, managing ground-truth compliance data (across SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and global security regulations), and directly advising enterprise security and legal teams. Additionally, you will facilitate customer audits, collaborate cross-functionally on the customer Trust Portal, and author technical white papers and security blog posts.

This role offers hybrid working arrangements, with key primary locations in Austin, TX and New York City. The estimated annual base salary range for New York City-based hires is $125,000 - $172,000 (adjusted depending on work location), and this role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan alongside a comprehensive U.S. benefits package.
