About the Team and Role
We are building an elite team in London, United Kingdom, applying frontier technologies to the world’s biggest financial problems. We are looking for a Brokerage Operations Specialist to serve as the UK first-line brokerage operations lead. In this role, you will be accountable for operational oversight, control execution, and service delivery across Robinhood UK brokerage processes, including outsourced and intercompany operational dependencies. This role is based in our London, UK office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen our community.
Key Technical Responsibilities
- check_circle Support the launch, improvement, and scaling of Robinhood UK operations, products, tools, and systems
- check_circle Own first-line oversight of UK brokerage operations, including transaction reporting controls, transfer operations, outsourced service-provider oversight, and operational risk management
- check_circle Ensure all daily operations align with FCA CASS (Client Money & Asset) regulations and support the delivery of good customer outcomes under the FCA Consumer Duty
- check_circle Partner with Robinhood teams such as Brokerage Operations, Compliance, Risk, Customer Experience (CX), Finance, Product, Engineering and Vendor Management
- check_circle Oversee and monitor the performance of operational business partners in line with the intercompany agreements and SLAs
- check_circle Drive continuous process efficiency improvement by leveraging AI and data to improve operational processes and reduce operational risk
- check_circle Maintain operational Standard Operating Procedures and processes
- check_circle Partner with the Risk & Compliance team (2nd line) to review, implement and operate the required frameworks and controls to support regulatory requirements
- check_circle Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, control remediation, and operational readiness work for new launches and material process changes

Prerequisites & Qualifications
- check Based in the United Kingdom with the ability to work in our London office at least 3 days a week
- check Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- check 6+ years of operational experience specialising in financial services
- check Passionate about financial services and fintech
- check Deep experience with UK brokerage operations, CASS rules, and tax wrappers (including ISA servicing, transfers, reconciliations, and exception handling)
- check Proactively identifying automation opportunities, and using data to prioritise process improvements and control uplift
- check Experience working across large projects with multiple work streams and coordinating cross-functional teams
- check Experience managing outsourced operational partners and holding them to SLAs, controls, reconciliations, and service-quality standards
- check Exceptional attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and strong problem-solving skills
- check Experience in applying data analysis to solve business problems
- check Excellent written and oral communication skills
