As our Finance organization continues to scale through organic growth, internal investments, and public-company rigor, we are looking for a Group Product Manager to lead the product management of our Finance SaaS portfolio.
About the Role
This is a player-coach role where you will manage a small team of SaaS product managers owning specific Finance domains while directly owning your own set of applications within the portfolio. You will act as the orchestration layer for Finance and AI Transformation, advising senior leadership, setting the product vision across the Finance SaaS landscape, and deciding what gets built or bought. Working closely with Enterprise Architecture & Engineering, you will own the product roadmap, vendor relationships, and AI-first finance initiatives that drive intelligent automation across our global financial systems.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will define and execute an end-to-end multi-quarter product vision covering P2P, R2R, QTC, payroll & equity, treasury, investments, and EPM. You will lead build-vs-buy decisions, champion a 'finance engineer' mindset to shift teams toward AI-enabled workflows, and establish a single transparent demand pipeline. Additionally, you will directly manage and develop product managers, maintain hands-on ownership of key applications, manage vendor relationships and total cost of ownership, and serve as the main product liaison to Finance leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key Technical Responsibilities
- check_circle Own the end-to-end product vision and multi-quarter roadmap for Reddit's Finance SaaS portfolio across P2P, R2R, QTC, payroll & equity, and treasury/investments/EPM.
- check_circle Act as the lead for Finance & AI Transformation, identifying AI use cases for close automation, anomaly detection, and operational efficiency.
- check_circle Translate Finance priorities such as close acceleration, scalability, public-company rigor, and M&A into a sequenced, defensible roadmap.
- check_circle Lead build-vs-buy decisions and vendor selections alongside the Enterprise Architect.
- check_circle Define and enforce a consistent product operating model covering intake, prioritization, release management, change management, and adoption measurement.
- check_circle Directly manage, coach, and develop a team of SaaS product managers owning individual Finance domains.
- check_circle Maintain direct hands-on product ownership over a specific set of applications within the portfolio.
- check_circle Manage Finance SaaS vendor relationships at the portfolio level including renewals, SLAs, spend rationalization, and total cost of ownership.
- check_circle Partner closely with Finance leadership, FP&A, Technical Accounting, Revenue, Treasury, Payroll, and Corporate Engineering teams.
Prerequisites & Qualifications
- check 8+ years in product management, business/finance systems, or finance transformation.
- check 2+ years of direct people management experience with a track record of developing PM talent.
- check Demonstrated ownership of Finance SaaS platforms across ERP, EPM/CPM, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, treasury, or payroll.
- check Track record of building and running a product/intake operating model including roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, and change management.
- check Strong vendor management skills including contract renewals, selection, SLAs, and vendor roadmap influence.
- check Ability to operate across abstraction levels, from executive roadmap discussions to platform configuration details.
- check Excellent communication skills tailored for executive CFO discussions and engineering sprint priorities.
- check Strong knowledge of financial controls, audit readiness, SOX requirements, data quality, and compliance impacts.
- check Experience defining close transformation roadmaps, reconciliation strategies, reporting readiness, and UAT strategies.
