In this remote, worldwide role, you will act as a key individual contributor reporting to the Sr. Global Payroll Manager. You will be responsible for owning payroll operations across LATAM, EMEA, and APAC. This is an opportunity to move beyond routine processing; you will drive strategic initiatives, including Workday enhancements and global vendor implementations, to build a best-in-class payroll infrastructure. Key Technical Responsibilities
- check_circle Manage, audit, and execute multi-country payroll delivery across 15+ international countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regional pay schedules.
- check_circle Lead the global payroll calendar, proactively managing dependencies, cutoffs, and risks.
- check_circle Partner with local in-country payroll providers to ensure statutory processing windows are met.
- check_circle Oversee international equity compensation processing (RSUs, Stock Options) and ensure regulatory compliance.
- check_circle Act as a functional lead for payroll technology projects, specifically leveraging Workday to automate workflows and optimize system configurations.
- check_circle Establish and enforce global payroll policies, SOX controls, and standard operating procedures.
- check_circle Collaborate with cross-functional teams including People, Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and Internal Audit.
- check_circle Support strategic business initiatives such as M&A integrations and new market entries.
Prerequisites & Qualifications
- check 5+ years of progressive payroll operations experience in a high-growth, publicly traded tech company.
- check Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in payroll, accounting, finance, or HR.
- check Advanced proficiency in Workday Payroll (reporting, configuration, and integrations).
- check Expert-level skills in Excel/Google Sheets, including vlookups, index/match, and pivot tables.
- check Deep understanding of global equity taxation, international labor laws, and multi-currency payroll distribution.
- check Proven ability to handle confidential data with high discretion.
- check Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse cultures and time zones.
